... finalmente estamos no outro lado da abertura, e novamente sob a protecção da terra ... chegarmos ao nosso destino, barcaça de Marcelo ea âncora rebocador-se ... cada uma falha onde quer que eles podem encontrar abrigo ... Tracy e Moana e encontrar quartos de luxo em um barco de cruzeiro de amigos ... esquecer por algumas horas que são, essencialmente, sem-teto ... que dia! que noite!

...weather is building up in the southwest, the forecast talks about a possible blow during the night...after a quick conference with all participants, we decide to tow the barely floating boat through the night to a more protected anchorage about 8 miles distant...

...it is a long and agonizingly slow tow, creeping along at just barely one knot...there is an open stretch between two islands, ope
n to the sea...we loose a drum, and then another...LORD JIM is trying to lay sideways to the swells...the towboat has barely enough power to keep control, especially at this slow speed...
 

...eventually we are on the other side of the opening, and again under protection of land...we reach our destination, Marcelo's barge and the towboat anchor up...every one crashes wherever they can find shelter...Tracy and Moana and I find luxurious quarters on a cruising boat of friends...forgetting for a few hours that we are essentially homeless...what a day! what a night!
